i want to do business and computers and get an MBA later on after i start working. What degrees should i do after college to get into a tech/business career.

2) get job working for IT
3) get MBA after 2 years of experience
Q: what graduate degrees or other programs are available for vets?
A: http://www.avma.org/education/cvea/vettech_programs/vettech_programs.asp

Q: Are there study abroad programs for people who already received their degrees?
I just finished my Bachelor's degree and never had the opportunity to study or go abroad. Are there any agencies or do you know of any sites that are addressed to people who never had the chance to go? Is it only during college? Appreciate your help. Thanks in advance! =)
A: The Goethe Institute does a summer program. A great many universities do this. Pick a country. Your undergraduate school should be able to provide a great deal of information on this topic.
You can either do a second undergrad, or pursue some graduate studies. Generally foreign exchange are limited to undergrad, but there are a couple of graduate programs tailored for this.
No it is not limited ot undergrad. Check your dean of student services at your undergrad school, or at perhaps a large school.
I forget the name of the two programs I am thinking of, but George Washington University dealt with two from Europe, and ASEAN from Southeast Asia.
But I don't know where you are starting from. ASEAN was usually one-way, from Asia to abroad.
Good luck.
Q: What are the best schools for online degrees, especially ones that have good tuition for military?
I've been trying to find brick-and-mortar schools that offer degree programs, but most of the ones I found only offered some classes, and not entire programs.
A: Have you considered the University of Maryland, University College? It is a brick and mortar school that really caters to people in the military. (The University of Maryland, University College is part of the University of Maryland system. In fact, its campus is right next to the University of Maryland, College Park - "Go Terps!")
They have satellite campuses in different countries and on different military bases (I took a class at a military base in my area). But they also have lots of online classes - in fact 22 of their majors and 28 of their minors (undergrad) are offered entirely online and a lot of their certificates are too. I think they offer online graduate majors too and for some programs no GRE is required.
Here is the URL:

I'm not sure what you are looking to study - but you might also want to consider schools like like the University of Phoenix or Capella, which are primarily online schools. University of Phoenix also has satellite campuses in case you decide to do face-to-face lectures at some point.
I know someone who went to Capella - and it is really working out well for her - she is getting her PhD in Information Technology.
Q: least exspensive graduate degree programs specifically focused on Doctorate degrees?
A: Most doctorate colleges are going to be expensive, since you will have to invest alot of time and research in obtaining the doctorate. You could research scholarships that relate to your field to see if you can win one or check to see if the college you want to attend offers graduate fellowships. Check the college you want to attend also for scholarships and grants.
Q: Is there Economics of Networks programs in graduates?
I want to study economics of networks in graduate school. Do you know which school provider master's degree programs in that field or something similar? Thanks.
A: Most graduate schools in Economics will discern the need for particular "sub-majors." Economics is a broad field, and many graduate schools will simply let you "create" your own specialty if they don't have it. In fact, many graduate schools encourage the creation of your own unique sub-specialty. While I don't know off the top of my hand particular schools that offer "Economics of Networks" programs, I can say that schools like Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Duke, and Cal offer solid programs in the economics field. It goes without saying that the Ivy League schools are solid too. Good luck!
Q: What do you think of two-year degree programs?
I attended a four year university and now I see all of these people coming out of two year schools. Some are OK, but they seem to lack a good foundation and are not all that well rounded. They also seem to have an attitude that they should be getting higher pay. I am in the Graphic Design field.
Do you think it is fair to those of us who went to a four year school, worked hard, spent more money?
A: i'd rather take a four-year program, because i believe i learned more and more thoroughly than my friends who went to two-year programs. however, there are a few fields that two-year programs are best for, such as business, where they'll get you a degree and get you working right away.
Q: whats the difference between these two degrees?
i want to know what the difference is between an M.S program/ degree or an M.B.A program/degree?
if any one can give me any info that woulr be great. thanks in advance.
A: A MS is a Master of science while a MBA is Master of Business Administration. Pretty self explanatory from there. But check out this if you want. Give a list of all master degrees with a bit more specification.

Good luck with your research!
Q: What are some degrees that would be good for entering into a career of game development?
Though right know i'm going for an education in psychology, but i've always wanted to go into game development. I just need to know what college degrees or programs would help me get into the programming and/or conceptual area of game design.
A: Computer Science is a good choice
If you can major in Psych and do an minor in CS, that might be a good fit.
Q: Can any of you suggest colleges with graduate programs in biology?
I'm looking for suggestions of colleges or universities with graduate degree programs in ethology, vertebrate zoology, animal behavior, or behavioral ecology. Schools can be in or outside of the United States. Thanks!
A: Boston University, UC Davis, UC Berkeley, Ohio State University and Harvard University all have really great ecology programs for graduate students and Cornell University has a great zoology program in their graduate school.
Q: Are there any bachelor degree programs that offer internship?
I live in India.. I have just finished my 12th. I want to do bachelors abroad along with an internship... Can you please help me out?
A: Degree programs in Germany usually require a six-month internship for graduation.
Q: What Universities In Canada Have a BA And a Masters And a Phd Degree Programs In Psychology?
A: I go to Sir Wilfred Laurier University for music, and I know we have a good psych. program here.
Q: what are some good interdisciplinary graduate school programs?
I'm a few years out of college with an undergraduate degree in CompSci and Sociology but think it's time for me to go to graduate school. I'm looking for advice on degree programs or careers.
I'm looking for something where I get to do applied research, modeling, analysis, and possibly teaching. I dig programming but see software as a tool for problem solving not an end to itself. The job would probably not be private sector.
My interests lie in media and public policy as it applies to sustainability, anti-racism, feminism, classism, homophobia. I like critical theory, computer models, and probablity and statistics.
Yeah, I know I sound crazy. Bear with me. I could use specific suggestions on fields to persue or resources to check-out.
Thanks very much in advance.
A: You do NOT sound crazy! It sounds like you'd thrive in a public administration grad program.
If your GREs are great, and if you can get some outstanding letters of recommendation from your undergraduate professors, your interests in media and public policy as well as your strengths in computer models and statistics would make you quite appealing as a candidate for any MPA program.
The MPA program that is consistently ranked best in the US is through the Maxwell School at Syracuse University. Check out its website, and make sure to check out the faculty and their specializations.

Q: Is there a list of USA universities that offer degrees in Mechanical Engineering and transfers from Brazil?
I have a friend in Brazil who is in their 3rd year of a 5 year degree program in Mechanical Engineering. They would like to move to the USA and are looking for colleges/universities that accept transfer students from Brazil. Any city is fine. Thanks!
A: Don't know of a list but I know NMSU will probably accept that transfer.
Q: Anybody know of on-line universities that offer post-bachelor's licensing programs to be a teacher?
I want to be a chemistry teacher, and I have a BA degree, so anybody know of any good, affordable online schools that offer a post bachelor's licensing program that will get you ready for your license to be a teacher for whatever state you live in the US? I don't mean a master's degree program, just a a post-bachelor's licensing program that will get you ready for your teacher certification? Tell me seriously.
A: I don't know of any. I know in Georgia there is none.... but in a couple of years there should be. I tried to find some too. School are reluctant to have online programs for wanna be teachers due to the fact that they have to have a student teacher portion. I know this is not what you wanted to hear
