A: If you homeschooled through an online school, correspondence school, or other kind of umbrella school, contact that school and they will send one. If you were just home schooled by your parents then your parents need to create and sign one and send it to the university.

A: Since you are just beginning there are many things to look at. First obtain a copy of the tutoring regulations for your state and follow them to the letter. It is important that you have only certified teachers who are knowledgeable in their fields./ Make certain that you have excellent communication with both the parent and the school. A: I received my certification through Texas Teachers two years ago. Great program; I recommend it to anyone who wants to teach but doesn't want to go back and get another degree in education. My first year teaching was on a probationary certificate and I was observed in the classroom by a retired principal working for Texas Teachers. I am still at the same school and district. They did a great job preparing me to be in the classroom and evidently my school agrees because I received very high scores on my summative appraisals.

Q: Is the alternative teacher certification program better than going the?
Education major route in college?

A: Yes and No. It is a simpler route for those who already have a degree. What you would spend in a 4 year college for a degree you can still get the certification for just a fraction of the cost. However, what you miss out is the total package of the education field. You'll miss out on techniques and theories which will help you a lot when you have you're own class. I went through an alt. program, and if I could I would have much rather gone through and studied education at a 4 year institute.

A: Based on the NSCA employer analysis survey for 2006, the NSCA CPT and CSCS credentials are the most sought out certifications by personal trainer/strength and conditioning agencies. 66% of employers said they look for one if not both of those credentials when highering applicants. Now if you want more clinical applications then go right for ACSM's Health and Fitness Instructor certificate, you can also go beyond that and get the certified clinical exercise physiologist credential. I have both the NSCA-CSCS,CPT certificates and it has done me very well in preparing me for real word clientel and athletes.

A: i think ACE is one. but if your looking for a trainer you should go with one that has some education and not the ones you get online. because i could get that and i dont think you want me to be a fitness instructor.

I am a high school graduate, looking at various 6-month programs that will get me earning quickly.

A: not really quick but an LPN is 1 year course and you can get associate degree later if you like your work

Q: If I recieved a technical certification in the pharmacy technician program at a Community college in Mem TN?
I completed a 36 hour fast track certifcate program, and we will not actually walk across and get our certificate until may 2009. Will I need to take any other certification or can I go towards licensure? I am confused, please help.

A: If you can continue studyng, since you don't get a certificate until 2009, I think that's a long time and you may forget. Try to see if you can find a job in a pharmacy even if they pay you low. That a very demanding job, in that way you are practicing and learning. You can also try to study medical assistant in line which is a very good combination and is fun. I took one for six month. Also I would suggest to ask the school if you can continue studyng since is a long time and you may forget. Keep all the book handy and try to learn as much as you can about pharmacy. I would like to know why it will take so long to give you the certificate.? I would suggestt to get in touch with them (school.) If you need to take other certification the school should be able to answer that. But if you can keep studyng the more chances you have to get a job. I live in California and I don't know what the law in TN. But I know here anything that have to do with medical are job that are in demanding. Let me know what happen. Good luck

A: It depends on what state you are in. In California it is a misdemeanor. I would not hide it. I suspect they will do a backround check. If you are upfront with them, I don't see you having a problem.
