Q: How does the international business program at Auburn University compare?
...Compared to the University of South Carolina? [I've gotten into both.] I know the international business program at SC is ranked number one but i don't trust that ranking since the business school as a whole isn't very high up in the rankings at all but I looked at the major description and it's one of the best sounding ones I've read. Has anyone majored in international business in either school or any other school for that matter?
A: My cousin did MBA from south carolina and he is in good job now
Q: How is the Business Program at Purdue University (West Lafayette)?
Im from the Chicago suburbs and I am looking at a few schools within about 3 hours from here. I've looked at Indiana U-Bloomington and I am very impressed. So anybody know about how the business program at Purdue is?
A: According to U.S. News and Business reports, Purdue and IU rank the following in the top 400 national universities with business schools.
(1) Undergraduate business program:
Purdue (W.Lafayette) ranks #66
IU (Bloomington) ranks #71
(2) Graduate Business program:
IU (Bloomington) ranks #20
Purdue (W.Lafayette) ranks #33.
So, neither is in the top ten for anything, but out of 400 schools neither is slacking. I'm a Purdue grad and I can tell you W.Lafayette is not as exciting to live in as Bloomington, but the classes and profs are more concerned with the students. Countryside is nicer around Bloomington, but Purdue is closer to Chicago if you want variety. And so it goes ... I think you can't lose at either if you want to be in Indiana.
Q: Which school has a better business program?
I don't know if I want to go to Utah State or University of Utah. What one has the better business program, as well as better job offers after school and all that good stuff? haha Any help would be greatly appreciated.
A: University of Utah.
Q: Who has a better business (MBA) program, Pitt or George Washington University?
I am trying to narrow down selections for colleges, and i am most likely going to major in business. I was just wondering which school (pitt, or GW) had the better business program.
Thanks
A: Both are adequate programs. Neither is what I would call an elite program. GW is the better program. BusinessWeek ranks it as a second tier program -- which puts it in the top 50, but not the top 30. Pitt is outside the top 50.
If you can get into them, you probably have a shot at a program that is in the top 30.
Q: What is the best free business card program ?
I want to make my own business cards but don't know what program to use. I would like to find a free program to download that is user friendly.
A: I would reccomend that you not go this route. If you plan on using those perforated business card sheets, don't. They dont look professional at all. It is cheaper to order them from VistaPrint. You get 250 professional looking business cards for just $5.25 shipping. Check out my article about the company

Q: What school has the best International business program?
For students majoring in international business - which is the best international business school? Can't seem to find any rankings, neither on businessweek, nor on the internet. However, my research skills are not the best.
Thanks in advance.
A: Columbia University, NYU, Wharton, Berkeley
Q: Does UC Davis have a really good Business or Economics program?
I am trying to compare Univeristy of Maryland's business program and UC Davis', which school is better in terms of the business program. I want to major in International Business and U of Maryland has such a major but UCD doesn't. Does anyone know if UCD has similar major? thanks
A: Davis has a good business school -- but it is for MBA only. Maryland's B-school is much better.
UC-Davis does have an excellent economics program (as do all the UCs). However, Maryland has a top 20 economics department.
UC-Berkeley has better programs than Maryland -- but Maryland dominates any other UC undergrad program in business.
Q: Do I have to major in a business field during undergrad to get into a good business grad program?
Is it necessary to major in like marketing or finance during undergrad if I want to get into a good business grad program? Or can I major in something I can excel very well at like english?
A: Not necessarily. Some business schools give preferential spots to business undergrads, others don't. But realize that a business related undergrad will help you maximize the benefits of an MBA. Check the websites of business schools you're interested in.
Might I suggest the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.
Go Green Wave!
Q: SUNY Binghamton and CUNY Baruch, whose undergraduate business program is stronger?
SUNY Binghamton and CUNY Baruch, whose undergraduate business program is stronger?
A: categorically, they're about the same. just a matter of preference.
Q: A question regarding business program in high school?
I'm in a business tech prep program in high school and I'm going to be interviewed for a Shadow Program in Pershing on May 8. What's ironic is that I don't like business but I'm in it anyways because my brother wants me to follow in his footsteps. But I want to become a family doctor or pediatrician and I can't change magnets because I'm in my second year. Is still going to be useful for me when applying for medical school or applying for college?
A: I am sure that some business courses could only help you getting ready for medical school.
Busienss writing, economics, statistics, busienss math, accounting, entrepreneurship, business law, and marketing could only add to your knowlege when you become a doctor.
I would take communication courses in the business program to get yourself comfortable in presenting in front of students and professors.
Q: What college has the best sports business program?
Where should I go if I want to go major in sports business?
A: UMASS at Amherst seems to have set the standard.
I know two guys who went there. One is director of ticket operations for a minor league baseball team; one has a very high-profile job in public relations for a major league hockey team.

Q: I have been accepted into Suffolk U and Temple U for accounting. Which school has the better business program?
I am curious as to what you think (yahoo that is); is the better school for business when it comes to accounting. I have narrowed down my choices to Temple University in Philadelphia and Suffolk University in Boston. Any insight you could give would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
A: Congratulations!
Q: How is the San Jose State's business program, specifically the HR program? The right place to go to school?
I want to major in the area of Human Resources. I know SJ has a HR concentration at there business school. I have searched online for review and news, but I found very few. Can I hear from people who actually went there or have any insights?
A: san jose state only have good engineering programs...so u might want to aim for like UC systems...
