Q: What is the benefit of an ACEJMC accredited journalism program?
I am choosing between going to UW-Milwaukee and the University of Kansas for journalism. I have been accepted to both, and really liked both campus's. Kansas school of journalism has the accreditation of ACEJMC while Milwaukee's does not. I was wondering if anyone knows how big of a deal the ACEJMC accreditation is?
A: You can easily compare journalism programs here - collegefinder.my-age.net
It has info about them and students feedback - so you can compare and choose the best one for you.
Q: Does anybody know of a good accredited home-school program?
I would like a christian based one but a secular one is ok too, as long as it is accredited. Thanks.
A: www.calvertschool.org
www.oalmeadow.com
Both are secular, but accredited and used by many christian homeschooling families.
Q: Can anyone recommend an affordable, accredited homeschool program?
My children are 11 and 9. We are a military family "on the move", so to speak, and we need consistent educational resources. We would prefer a secular program.
A: I was homeschooled from 7th grade on through a program called Penn Foster they are great and very inexpensive. Your children will do the work at home and will send it in a be graded by teachers. I hope this helps you! and happy teaching. When I have children, I plan to teach them at home also very rewarding!
Q: Looking for a good accredited school for Veterinary program.?
There is no direct Vet education here in Hawaii unless i go to Community College and work my way up to a class that only offers one class, but I'm too busy to deal with all that. I'm looking for something that is more direct - reliable and accredited. I was thinking of trying to get a job at a clinic first but i wasn't hoping to do that unless i really have to. Any good schools online that offer Veterinary programs and is worth the time & money?
A: If you're looking to leave Hawaii for a vet school, the North Carolina State Veterinary College has a great program.
Q: Is the University of London external program well accredited?
I mean can i get good jobs and stuff in the UK, USA or the UAE. I reside in Pakistan but am totally confused as to what to do....i mean am i just wasting money away to a degree that is just ignored?
A: It may depend upon exactly what you are taking in the external program,./
Q: Can you put Job Corps down as an accredited program on a college application?
A: I don't know that they would be considered an 'accredited' program, but it would be helpful to list to show the time spent and skills learned while there.
Q: Could anyone reccomend an accredited school with a program in audio recording/technolgy?
I'm having trouble finding a school with an audio technology/recording program in Indiana, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any. I know that Indiana University has one, but it's extremely difficult to get into.
A: UCLA has an extremely good program. Come to Cali, the weather is better.
Q: No GRE scores but an accredited program?
What is the difference between a program that requires the GRE's and an program that doesn't require the GRE's.
It's a masters in ed in school counseling and it is accredited with the CACREP.
A: some schools and programs do not require the GRE. it doesn't mean it's a bad program, just means that they have different standards for admission.
as long as the program is accredited, it's fine.
Q: Does anyone know of an accredited LVN program in Los Angeles that is good and affordable?
A: Have you considered LA Trade Tech college? It's a community college so it only costs $20 per credit hour (about $300 per semester)
Here's a link... http://www.lattc.edu/dept/tcas/cat0001/NURSING_VOCATIONAL_ep.htm
If you're willing to be not quite in LA, El Camino College in Torrance (also a community college so it's the same price as LATTC) has an accredited program that is supposed to be good.
Here's their link...

Q: Unaccredited program in an accredited college?
the computer engineering program is not accredited but the school is accredited. Will that affect possible employment and affect me entering into grad school?

Graduate school? Probably.
Q: I need a cheap, accredited homeschooling program, can anyone help me?
I and my brother and sister want to try homeschooling, but so far have found nothing we can afford and few that we even liked. We're really looking for programs that send us the work that we complete and send back to get graded. We would really appreciate any information given to us. Thanks
A: there is something called paces, ACE..school of tommrow (google it also )
Q: how do you find out if a schools medical program is accredited?
help please
A: The school's web site url will be your first clue. If it ends in .edu it's an accredited university/college. If it ends in .com. or .net it's a business first.
If the school alleges that it is accredited, all accrediting authorities require specific language to used to make that statement, as well requiring a link to the accrediting authority.
Lastly, the state will have the school listed on it's education web page.
Q: Are schools in the SOCMAR program regionally accredited and are credits transferable to outside universities?
