Q: Where can I find this degree program online?
Where can I find an associates or bachelors degree program through an online university for Nursing for people who have not studied in this field before? All the ones I have come across require you already be a Nurse.
A: You must go to a traditional classroom to complete your Nursing degree because of the hands on training. Once you obtain your degree than you could take additional courses online for career advancement.
Q: thomas university-informatics online degree program?
i've seen the website of thomas university and they're offering an online degree program under informatics. it's a business course. is this true? i'm interested but i'm afraid it might be fake or a scam.. i asked them about the requirements and the details and they have a reply and called me through my cellphone.
A: I would not trust this. I'm sorry, doesn't seem legitimate. Do not do it unless you find people who have done the same.
Q: Devry university called me say they have a game simulation program online degree is it a skam
i want to design games for a living but is an online degree gonna get me anywhere or is it a wast of my time please only reply if you really know what your talking about
A: You're better off finding a traditional college or university that offers the online courses you're interested in. A real degree will carry much more weight than a tech school diploma.
BTW-Have you ever seen commercials for ITT Tech or Devry? They scream "LOSER!"
Q: How can i earn a valid degree online?
I am an Indian who stays in India. I would like to get information about online degree program of universities which is accredited everywhere in the world and the fee structure of it. Please give me necessary details regarding that.
A: http://www.phoenix.edu/
Here is a well respected and accredited university and all of the information about it.
Q: How hard is it to get an online BS degree from East Carolina Universtiy?
I'm thinking about applying for the BSBA online degree program at East Carolina. I work full time and have 2 young children. Will I have the time to do it if I only do it part time?
A: While I have never attended East Carolina, I can tell you a little about the school. It is a public school that is part of the University of North Carolina system. This is a very good thing for a couple of reasons.
One reason is because it is a true brick and mortar university and degrees conferred to online students will be no different from the degrees conferred to students who sat in a classroom.
Another reason is the cost will be reasonable and you won't be overcharged. Unless you live out-of-state. I think East Carolina charges online students out-of-state tuition if they live outside of North Carolina.
The work required for the courses will be challenging. They have to maintain the standards of the University of North Carolina. You should be able to attend part time, but you will have to make a commitment to yourself to complete this degree.
There are a couple of other options for you though. The following are also state schools with reasonable tuition.

All of the above are accredited. You can check accreditation at http://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/Search.asp
Good luck
Q: I am looking for an online radiation technologist training or degree program.?
Does anybody knows any universities offer this online program?
A: I think this is one of those things that would require some actual classroom, hands-on learning... I hope.
Q: Online degree programs at NY state universities?
Are there any NY universities that offer degree programs online? I am having a hard time finding any. I only found one and they only offered Business.
A: CanProf gave you my favorite link- the one to the SUNY Online Learning Network. You can see all the online degrees given by the SUNYs. Keep in mind that Empire State is their adult ed/distance learning college, and if you'd rather stick with a college that isn't famous for being online or adult ed, go with the few others on that list.
Other colleges in NY that I know offer online degrees include CUNY, NYIT, Excelsior College, St. Joseph's College, Mercy College, NYU, Polytechnic University, Monroe College, Pace University, Ithaca College, and there could be others as well.
Q: Where can I find an accredited accelerated bachelor's degree program? Not interested in online degree program.
I'm interested in a recognized college/university to attend. I'll even consider the option of "testing out" of college; how can I obtain information to test out of college?
A: Many colleges offer the opportunity for you to test out of specific classes, but testing out of college entirely? I'd be wary of any school that offered that.
There are accelerated degree programs. For example, here in NY, there are several. Where are you based, or are you willing to move?
Q: Any advice welcomed for a 36 year old looking to do an online degree?
I'm thinking about doing an online degree program, but not sure from where, what subject etc. I left school at 16 with low grades and haven't followed a career as such. Am I too stupid to do this? Could I be wasting my money?
A: No not at all, its never to late to get an education. Before you start looking at colleges to attend it is important that you have an idea of the type of job you are seeking. You need to know the current market demand for that job, what the job exactly entails and the skills and qualifications needed to get the job. Most importantly, you need to know if the job will fit your personality, interests, strengths, goals and values. You do all of this by first assessing yourself and then researching different jobs that fit you best. Below are links to resources that will help you with this.

Q: Is a degree from an online program taken as seriously as a degree from a nononline program?
A: Yep. If you don't believe strangers on Yahoo, then take it from celebrities. A lot of celebrities are earning their online degrees, including Shaq (online MBA), Hillary Duff, and Sasha Cohen.
Check out the schools that offer the most programs in the areas you want and get your degree wearing embarassing pj pants!
Q: Has anyone had any experience with earning a bachelor's degree online?
I am interested in finishing my college education, but I can't 'go back to school' and I would like to pursue a degree completely online. Does anyone know of any reputable colleges/universities that offer online degree programs?
A: Your best bet is to go to a state school that offers online classes. The other schools that advertise as being an online school are usually more expensive and your degree may not be worth anything.
Q: Online adult degree program?
I went to the city university of New York and dropped out due to personal issues 2/3 done. The college now offers an online adult degree program. To get in it, you need at least 30 previous college credits, be in good academic standing and been out of college for two years.
Has anyone ever done a program like this before? If so, was it easier than going to full time school during the day? They keep saying it's for working adults when most colleges look down on you having a job and say school is your job.
A: I went through three classes in an online program before deciding it wasn't right for me and now I am going to class in person on weekends.
It all depends on the program, but I found that some of the professors were trying so hard to make sure the online program wasn't too easy, that it was actually very hard at times. It may have overcompensated, to tell the truth. Watch out for professors who have something to prove.
Also, I missed the human contact of going to class with other students.
Online programs are very new at many schools and as a result some of them can be pretty disorganized with poor communications about procedures, etc. I'd make sure it's a program that's been around for a while.
Definitely look for a school that "gets it" and does not look down on people who are working a full time job. More schools are getting pretty sophisticated about understanding what people need these days. Remember that as a college student, you are a consumer purchasing a service, and make sure you choose a program that meets your needs.
Q: does anyone have a degree from the university of Phoenix online program?
I am looking for some info on the university of Phoenix online courses are the GED programs a scam and does anyone have a degree from there?
A: Why would you want to choose University of Phoenix online? While they are an accredited university, their tuition fees are very high compared to other online universities/colleges, and they do not have the best reputation because of their focus on profit rather than quality education.
Keep looking, there are lower cost and more reputable online colleges for you to choose from.
Also, they do no offer GED programs - as far as I am aware - this is high school level.
Q: M.D. degree program online?
I know you can pretty much get any sort of degree online, but has anyone heard of an M.D. online???
A: There are some school and it should be that give pre-med science education on-line and arrange the clinical rotation in there close hopspital and it work, sarfraz
