Q: business degree online?
I want a BA in business admin. what is a prestigious online program?

A: There are no prestigious online programs. Most online universities are For Profit corporations with no admissions standards. They cost more than respectable public universities. Employers do not respect them -- so their graduates make thousands less per year when they graduate -- if they can find a job. You would be better off getting a tattoo on your forehead that says "I have a bad educatoin." It ousl have the same effect and be a lot cheaper.

Q: why did penn state online enroll me in associates of business degree and not in the liberal arts as i wanted.?
I was wanting an associates degree in liberal arts and sciences. I'm hoping one day to become a psychologist not a business major. Anyone have ideas for an online college to study what I want?

A: Because they are trying to save you from the mind numbing, brainwashing of a liberal arts education.....

Q: best online college to earn a degree in Business Management. Will it be recognized in the business world.?
I am and auditor but do not have a degree. I have experience in management and want more pay.

A: I received a Business Management degree on-line through Peirce College. My only choose was to do an on line program because I had a baby and had to stay home and do the mom thing. It is definitely recognized in the business world. I got chosen for a lot of interviews because the employer when to Peirce. Now I have a great job working in a Finance office for an Orchestra. I only wish Peirce has a Master degree program. Some other good online colleges that I know of other people who attended and graduated were Strayer University and University of Phoenix.

Q: What is your opinion of online degree granting Colleges/Universities?
Would say a business in Minnesota or Iowa have the same opinion of a BS Business degree from Kaplan or University of Phoenix online as they would from local colleges/universities? Local colleges also offer online courses and some programs can be complete totally online. The diploma and transcript does not look any different from a traditional student.

A: Online degrees are not useless, they are a fabulous opportunity for busy professionals who are working and have kids. Thousands of people earn online degrees every year, many of my nursing instructors earned their Master's online at U of P, or at least in an excelerated format, such as National University. I earned my BSN online and the curriculum is exactly the same curriculum the university offers to it's students in class.

Q: Online Degree....looking for a good program?
All right, I've been searching high and low. I've never attended college before and I work full time SO I'm looking into an online business degree. Obviously I want a quality program since I'll be spending quite a bit of money...I'm sure! So far I've been impressed with Baker college, Fort Hays State, Southern New Hamshire U and Penn State. If you can, please share your thoughts on any of these schools or suggest any other quality online schools you may know of.

A: I would make sure that the school is accredited first. Then I would make sure that you look around at a bunch of schools to see which makes the most sense for you. I did a search for accredited business degrees online and this site seems to have good information and for some schools for you to check out.

Q: online business degrees??
i want to get a buisness degree but since i just had a baby i cant go to college is there a business degree i can get online? just looking for an associates can you help? have you got a degree in business online? which one?

A: I got my Bachelor's by a combination of online and distance based classes with St. Leo University out of Florida. They are a fully accredited college. My husband obtained his MBA through St. Leo as well. We both highly recommend the school. You must be good with time management and have good reading comprehension - you are basically teaching yourself. There are online chat sessions with the instructors and they have streaming video with the lessons, but if you don't do your reading assignments and homework, it will be difficult.

Q: What is a good Online College for a Associate Degree in Business Management?

A: There are two things that you need to realize: First -- there are no good on-line colleges. Second -- an Associates Degree in Business won't do that much for you (unless you plan to go on to a four year college).

Q: Is taking an online course for an associates degree in business administration a good idea?
instead of taking the course on campus?

A: Certainly! Many schools now offer really good on-line courses as part of degree programs. It sounds like you are just talking about one on-line course. I think actually makes your a more marketable employee considering how much of today's business happens online. You just need to make sure that you have a good computer, a reliable, fast internet connection, and the personal motivation to do a lot the work on your own. Instead of going to class all the time, you will have to be very disciplined to do a lot of reading on your own. But on-line classes can be a great way to fit classes into a busy schedule!

Q: I got my Associate's degree online in Business Administration (I will graduate in March). I have been thinkin
about getting my Bachelor in Accounting/Finance, but every time I look at the loans, I get discourage. And I don't really want to work as an accountant or a financial adviser. I just want to have the degree for the sake of having and maybe later (When I become a Citizen) try to get a job with the federal government (My dream workplace). The loans are my main concern. I feel like I will work all my life to pay them back. Do you think I should continue? Or should I get it now while I'm young and in school, and use the degree in the future to get my Federal job?

A: I would definitley get your degree now. The longer you wait the more it will cost to go back to school. Also if you're concerned about the cost, try finding a job within a universtiy. That is what I am doing and I am working on getting my masters for free (though I will have to pay taxes on the compensation, it is far less than I would pay by going it alone).

Q: How long does it take to get a associates degree in business administration from university of phoenix online?
What classes are required?

A: You need not pay any attention to the first answer. UOP is regionally accredited and an associates degree from UOP is an excellent choice for many people who are unable to attend "traditional" schools due to work or family obligations. If you have zero college credits it will take you twenty months to earn your associates degree. Check their web site for the required classes. www.phoenix.edu

Q: Ok, someone help me out here with this online degree stuff?
I'm looking for an online college to get an associate's degree. I would like to find one that is high quality that I can also can enroll in at anytime, accelerate the classes if I feel like it, business degree, and virtual classroom. I know that I can google all this but for the love of God I'm gonna blow a head gasket lol. If someone could help make this search a little more simple it would be greatly greatly appreciated. :)

A: One of the best search tools for online programs is at Peterson's. http://www.petersons.com/distancelearning/code/search.asp There are several thousand colleges teaching online these days - you should be able to find something without much difficulty. As for maximum flexibility - I found Excelsior College (http://www.excelsior.edu) to be about the most flexible college I ever attended (I have just under 200 hours undergrad). The advantage is that you can do the coursework anywhere you'd like (another college in the classroom, another college online, by testing - CLEP, DANTES, ECE) and transfer it all back or you can just take their classes online.
