Q: What are some good master's degree programs to get into with a Bachelor's degree in media arts and animation?
I'm about to graduate and getting my bachelor's in animation. What are some good master's degree programs to get into to help? I was thinking something that would help enhance my skills in film studies or creative writing.Any suggestions?
A: Not sure, but congratulations. I graduated with a BFA in 2004. I'd like to continue to get a Masters someday, to teach college art. Is that something you might be interested in?
Anyways, good for you!
Q: Does anyone have info about free educational/adult advance degree programs in Europe?
I'm trying to find more universities/schools with free/ low cost adult advance degrees. I'm an American. I'm new to finding out info so any tips are much appreciated.
A: You won't find any.
Even when there was free university in the UK you had to be British and resident to access it. You are looking at £8000ish at a British uni
Q: What are schools around the GTA (in Ontario) that offer 1 year long degree programs?
I can only find ones that last 3 years or more... any colleges that offer a quick program? Thanks, will choose a best answer.
A: There are a number of private schools that offer 1 year programs, but I wouldn't touch most with a 10 foot pole. They tend to advertise on matchbooks and offer great incentives with regard to financial help. Most reputable colleges are min 2 year programs. A few to check
Mohawk College,
Seneca College
Sheridan College
Q: which graduate degree programs in NYC offer full tuition and a large enough stipend to live off of?
assuming any discipline and living in nyc without having to borrow any money. please no joke responses, only serious answers please.
A: The best place to search is for graduate programs offering either a research or graduate assistant positions. Many offer tuition help and a monthly stipend to students in this type of program. I know University of Michigan and the University of Pennsylvania offer it. I will include some readings and help on this matter. Good luck!
Q: Do universities in Puerto Rico offer any English degree programs?
I was told that you may hand in work in English is this true? I understand and read Spanish. It is my writing that sucks lol. If anyone has any information on English Programs in Puerto Rico Plz let me know. Guayama, Ponce, Santa Isabel, and Cayey are the places i'm looking into Thank You
A: I recommend the InterAmerican University in San German. I got my MA in ESOL teaching there a couple of years ago and learned a lot. There are many non spanish speaking students that attend this university. Good luck!
Q: Please i need names of countries that offer free university undergraduate degree programs?
countries other than sweden and finland.
A: J is right. If there was a magic way to get this stuff for free with no conditions, don't you think we would all be doing it? Then entry would have to be restricted by some other means.
Having said that, if you are an outstanding student and your family is poor, you can apply to Harvard, Yale and Princeton all of which offer needs blind admission. That means that, if you are accepted, your parents' income will be assessed in determining if you should pay fees.
However, they are quite tough. I have a friend whose parents were not considered poor enough just because they own their house.
Q: I am very passionate about sports and music...what careers or degree programs should I look into?
I currently am in a job where the pay is good, but the work isn't satisfying. I've heard that getting paid for what you love to do is true happiness and success. I'm a huge music fan but I don't play any instruments. I'm a huge sports fan as well. What careers could I go into and what degrees or diplomas would I need? I'm 28 years old.
A: you could have a radio show, that way you could work with music and talk about sports...but I dont think that requires a degree, just experience.
You could be a physical therapist for athletes, that job is always needed.
It depends what kind of music you are interested in. for popular modern day stuff, you could DJ, become a record producer (I don't know what degree that would be).
If you mean classical or other genres of music, you could be an usher at a theater (get to see the shows for free).
For good pay, I think manager anything is not bad. Manager at a sports stadium, manager at a club, etc...that I think you need to work from the bottom though.
Oh, and degree wise, I think that experience and enthusiasm is the best way to get into one of these careers. Maybe a business degree, or a management degree. (or a physical therapy degree)
Q: what degree programs should i go for if i want to become a relationship therapist?

i am just starting out.. clean slate...
A: Familily psychology. masters

Q: What College Degree Programs are okay to apply with to become a USMC Officer? I hear not Nursing school?
I am currently in Nursing school, and I hear that the USMC won't take you becuase that is a useless degree, and they would'nt be able to use my skills. Is this true? And if it is, what sort of degree do I need to get then? I was under the impression that any 4 year college degree was just fine...
Thanks,
-Katie
A: It doesn't matter....you need a bachelor's degree and the Corps doesn't really care what it is in. I know that Army and Air Force ROTC scholarships are given based on discipline, and the Navy has no requirements, but favors technical degrees, but the Marines just want a degree.
I haven't used one bit of my criminology degree to fly helicopters.
Q: Is it possible to get degree programs/university in electrical engineering after diploma course ?
To upgrade the qualification, will any engineering college take a diploma candidate who had done diploma course since 10 years back ?? Or they offer masters in engineering ??? what ever it may be, what are the requirements ???
A: Yes. But depending on which Country you are in. Normally they need you to sit for their qualification examination to determine your grade of entry.
If your knowledge is good and maintained, then you may even jumped to 3rd year.
If is bad, maybe they will exempted you from some of the subject in year 1, and perhaps you may start from year 1.
Often the case i see my friends that, they will begin in the 2nd year of engineering studies, but there some year 1 compulsary subject you need to take concurrently with your 2nd year studies.
Q: I want to get a degree to write programs, should it get a software engineering or computer science degree?
Will both degrees teach me how to write programs?
A: computer science...
Q: Are The De Vry School Degree Programs the same as a bachelor's?
Or is it a bogus rip off school?
My BF is trying to get a BA in a short time.
A: I believe DeVry is accredited, however unless you are going into a specialized technical field, employers will not usually look at DeVry with the same regard as a private or public university.
Q: Are there any credible master's degree programs one can get into without having a bachelor's degree?
Perhaps I can use work experience and/or test out of certain classes?
A: Ha ha try university of Phoenix they let anyone in and have easy As from what I researched but only have a 16 percent graduation rate. NO you can't get into a credible masters program without a bachelors why would you want to. If you jump to that level without suffering through undergrad you will probably just set yourself up for failure. If you don't have a bachelor's for the job you have experience in now I'm pretty sure you don't need a masters to be at that level so why get one.
Q: Can someone please tell me a little about advanced degree programs or schools that accept foreign students.?
Currently I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. I live in the U.S.A. and would like to study in the U.K., preferably England . Any school names or programs would be greatly appreciated. Serious responses only, please.
A: I think the best to do is to get into the web sites of the schools in England and see what are the requirements. Try Cambridge first. Is the school with the best reputation in England.
I hope it helps.
