Q: Are formal warnings for youth offenders seen when applying for university/jobs?
Just wondering for anyone law-savvy, the formal written warnings given out by police officers- do those stay on your criminal record when applying for jobs/universities? I've heard different sides that they stay and that they're not officially on your criminal record/are dropped when you turn 18. Any ideas?
if dropped when you turn 18 can universities/jobs see this when you're applying for them?
A: Dropped when you turn 18.
Q: If i went on to do a Zoology course at university, what jobs are available?
I am currently in my last year of School and i am looking to go to college and get a BTEC national diploma in animal management. Then i would like to go to University and study Zoology. I would really love to know what careers are available after Uni.
Thank you in advance!
A: Zookeeper, wildlife biologist, zoologist, scientific aide, biological technician. You can find employment with zoos, labs, museums, universities, government agencies, non-profits, and environmental consultant firms.
Q: What jobs should I get for my university application?
My brain is so empty, I dunno what job is most useful for my university application. Don't tell me to go and work in McDonalds or Safeway. I hate those jobs. I need something useful.
A: I put my application in for summer work at a fortune 500 company...and actually got hired for the summer. Things like that look great on applications. Go to Monster.com and look for internships, summer work, or jobs with the opportunity to move up! Maybe take a 6 week course in realestate and try to get a job under an agent for the summer! It would be a great experience and future employers will admire your ambition.

Q: i am graduate in Law from a University in India.Where can i find jobs in law firms overseas?
i am graduate in Law from a University in India.Where can i find jobs in law firms overseas?
A: I know http://www.RiseSmart.com/jobs is one site with a real person (imagine that) assigned to search the Internet for you for $100k+ jobs in the specialized field you choose. This saves you time, and RiseSmart also does corporate recruiting so they have even more job leads to offer you on top of those listed on Internet web sites. They also have a location-specific salary calculator, a resume analysis and editing team, and provide access to Visual CV. My friend got the half-off price (about $20) with coupon code RSHM5008.
Q: will university grads be pretty clever who go for faststream jobs?
My friend has gone for an interview for a job which is specifically aimed at graduates and was just wondering what are her chances. As she didnt go to uni like the rest but obtained a grade provided by work training.
Its for senior trainee management faststream positions. 40 people are being interviewd and there are 17-20 jobs going. She had to do a number of tests before getting the interview which was scenario based. I am only asking as university people seem pretty hot at interviews so the competition will be high surely.
A: Yep, the competition will be high.
But, your friend will have more experience than the graduates, and often employers value experience more than qualifications.
If she's made it to the interview then it's all a matter of personality and cool.
With her work experience, she should have a professional way about her that many of the graduates will not.
She's definitely in with a chance.
Good luck to her !
Q: What jobs Should I take while in University to become an Accountant?
Should i be taking accounting clerk position, Bookeeping, office assasitant, and accounting clerk?
I'm really confused. Because most of those jobs require 2~3 years of experience but i have neither. Are there any jobs out there that would be of help to acquire the necessary experience?
Or should i just wait until one of those job offerings say they don't care whether i have any experience.
A: If there's an accounting club, join it and use every opportunity to meet accounting employeers.
Accounting is very much an in demand field. Once you graduate you won't have trouble finding work as long as you have the degree. Count your coursework as experience.

Q: High paying jobs right after university?
I dont really know how to word this, but I once saw a list for it but i dont know where to find it anymore. My question is what are the jobs that have a high starting pay? Like the minimum pay ?
A: Pharmacists - $80,000+
Physician Assistant - $80,000+
Speech Pathologist - $60,000+
Physical therapist - $60,000+
Nurse - It varies where you live but in nyc they can make over $80+ an hour.
Q: I need to know the jobs a university can offer to the bpo service provider?
A: I have no idea what a BPO provider is...but every University Website has a Human Resources/Employment section posts current job listings (been looking for adjunct faculty positions myself) - however, if you are a contractor, that may be another story. Look to see if the University has a contracting office and start there... Good luck!
Q: If you major in Psychology in university, what kind of jobs can you get later in life?
What type of jobs/careers can you get with a BA in Psychology?
Are there other options other then being a psychologist.
A: Psychology is such a popular major because you can go in so many different directions with it, at least grad school-wise.
Counseling, marketing, teaching, law, statistician, doctor, etc.
As for jobs with just a BA, I'm not entirely sure.
Q: Does anyone know if you get your degree online from like University of Phoenix, if jobs look at that as good?
I have my associates from a private university where I live but I am not wanting to continue with my bachelors because of the expense and was thinking of getting my BS online but I don't know if they would not be looked at well from potenial employers.
A: Depends on what you get your degree in. Some companies will always be snooty about online degrees. You can't change that. But, just get a degree from an accreditated online college with a track record, you should be okay. Certin fields, like child devlopment, may look at an online degree as impossible if they expect face to face interaction through practicums. U of Phoenix has been around to be pretty reputable.
