Q: Germany offers free tuition for international university students?
For start off, I have a British nationality, but I live in China (incase it has something to do with my nationality or where I live). I heard from a teacher at school from Germany that their country offers free tuition for international university students. I would like to know if ......well......it is true, under what circumstances, if it is only any particular universities, if it includes subjects design or architecture......things like that. Please feel free to write as detailed as you like, because I WILL read your responses.
Thank you.
A: But can't you get free university education in Britain also?
Q: Best University with lowest tuition fee for foreign student?
Where can I find a University or college in US any states that offer Master degree in Operation Management, or Supply Chain Management, or Logistic Management?
Also the student is a foreign national, I know that tuition fee in US for foreign national cost an arm and legs, any good reputable school that have lower tuition fee?
I will also need to consider the living expenses as master degrees takes up a year or two to complete.
Will appreciate any response, guides or direction for more information.
Thank you in advance.
A: Most colleges work with foreign students here in the U.S because they understand your circumstances. What you should do is find a school that you may be interested in and e-mail or call someone from the school and ask for info about foreign students. Believe it or not, most foreign students get better deals in U.S. colleges than Americans do. There are also scholarships available at most schools for foreign students. Don't forget to ask about those either. I have several friends from my college who are going to my school for nearly nothing. They are also provided with a place to stay. All in all, you just have to search on the net and find out as much info as you possibly can. Hope that helps a little. Good luck!
Q: When treasury bills are sold to pay for university tuition, are they subject to income tax?
Specifically, the seller of the T-bill is still registered as a dependent.
A: A treasury security held by a dependent is not going to be exempt from federal income tax under any circumstances.
A dependent will not pay income tax if the interest income from the security is $850 or less. If this is the dependent's only income, no tax return has to be filed.
If the investment income is more than $850, the dependent will have to file a tax return and pay income tax.
Q: What can you say about the tuition increase in the University of the Philippines?
The University of the Philippines (UP) is the most prestigious state university, which means that it should be funded by the government. Starting this academic year, they implemented the tuition fee increase from Php 300.00 to Php 1,000.00 per unit. Regular students need to take at least 15 or 17 units, which cost Php 15,000.00 to 17,000.00. In fact, some students are paying Php 21,000.00, that includes me. However, students of other private universities also pay Php 21,000.00.
A: is that tuition fee for undergraduate courses? that's ridiculous! i thought state universities are the least expensive... tsk tsk tsk. the cost per unit about 7 years ago was only like 200php. the government should think again about that tuition fee. it's too expensive.
Q: I graduated from a college or university and my wife is an illegal immigrant what type of tuition wil she pay?
will she pay international or in state tuition, its a state university, or does it change by university?
A: It depends on the state, likely she'll pay a out of state tuition(or even a international rate) because she is not a citizen of your state.
