The Associates degree is for the Rn program. The Counselor said that I could take take my courses online and do the clinical in a nearby hospital. Is there anyone here who has went to South University before?

Q: Is South Florida University cheap and what grades and GPA are required to get accepted?
I checked their website and could not find it. Also, is South Florida expenisive or is it a pretty cheap school? I have a GPA of a 3.0 and do Track, Cross Country, and Inturmal Baskeball. With that, would I get accepted?
A: It's the University of South Florida (USF).
You'll probably get in. There is no specific GPA requirement. I know people with less than stellar GPAs who got into USF.
The cost depends on whether or not you are a Florida resident. The link to the financial aid page is below.
Good luck!
Q: Has Anyone Attended South University Tampa Campus?
I am getting all my paper work ready to go to this school but in the back of my mind, I am a little scared. Its the tuition!!! Has anyone attended and if so, is the school worth it. The tuition worth it?
No I mean South University. Main campus is in savanna GA
A: I agree 100% with Kadel. I attend the University of South Florida, its a great school.
I've seen South University's commercial, I dont think that is a real accredited college. You need to save your money and apply to a college that is regionally accredited by SACS.
Degrees from schools such as South University do not have much value to potential employers.
What major are you interested in? You can email me and I'll help you find a university that is accredited, well respected and affordable to meet your needs.
USF might even have your major. Here is a list of a few of the regionally accredited colleges in the Tampa area:
University of Tampa
University of South Florida (Tampa, St. Pete, Lakeland, Sarsota, etc)
Hillsborough Community College
Clearwater Christian College
St. Petersburg College
Pasco-Hernando Community College
Eckerd College
Stetson College of Law
Q: University of South Carolina or University of Alabama?
Where should I go, University of South Carolina or University of Alabama? I really cant choose! They are both good schools, and I really cant decide.
A: Go for University of Alabama, my sis went for it.
Q: What is it like to take a politics class at a university in the deep south?
I go to school at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and I'd imagine that political discussions at my university are much different than those in the deep south? Do you know anything about politics classes/ university political discussions in the deep south?
A: I'm from Texas and I can tell you UT Austin is one plenty liberal university. It seems to me universities and college towns everywhere, even in the deep South, are bastions of liberalism.
That being said, I majored in engineering and we didn't discuss politics. For the one government class I had, the professor was pretty easy going and open minded. I'm guessing he was liberal. For my Texas government class, I had this mean old professor always blaming Clinton for something. I'm seriously not kidding.
Q: do you like the University of South Carolina gamecocks or Clemson Tigers?
I love the University of South Carolina Gamecocks i do not like the Clemson tigers at all. I just want 2 no who likes whaT .
A: i go to USC!!! GO COCKS!!!
Q: Is an education degree from Samyook University in South Korea accredited in the USA?
I work in South Korea and am considering continuing my education at Samyook University.
A: If you are looking to get a degree in education at a foreign (non-US) college and find out if it is acceptable in the United States for a teacher's certificate I would suggest you look at the education websites for the state(s) you would like to teach in and see if they will accept it.
Good Luck!!!
Q: Can you attend university in South Africa if you were home-schooled?
My daughter is currently at a home-schooling project set up by an American International school in South Korea, because she couldn't adapt to the language barrier at the Korean school. She will pass the Grade 6 in a couple of months and go on to Middle School level. When we eventually go back to South Africa, will she be allowed to apply for any courses at any university in South Africa. I've already asked an Education official and he said it would be ok if she was to go school there. How about university? Do you guys think she would be allowed? Because we intend to stay on a couple of years longer.
A: Porgie, As regards University you should inform yourself about the quota system employed at SA Universities ( there was a recent example with Medical Students). The next thing you should do is evaluate the worth of a current degree from a University in SA ( they are not accepted in the UK because of lowering of standards). The next thing you should do is consider the long term future of people like your daughter in SA given that you are not "Black" enough in the eyes of the ANC. Then get your daughter the best degree she can obtain that is valid Worldwide even if it means a sacrifice on your part.
Q: What does a University of South Africa degree look like?
Hi,
This might be odd, but I was wondering what a University of South Africa degree looked like? I'm a US citizen, finishing up my Master's and was considering attending UNISA for my doctorate, beacuse it is so darn cheap...with full accreditation too!
A: From what i understand , it is a fully accredited varsity and loooks like any other degree. The reason for it being so cheap is that the exchange rate favours u considerably. But remember that it is a correspondence university without lectures.
I Know of guys who have done engineering at this university and are taking the jobs away fom US graduates, so take no heed in what this guy below me has answered. If you study from the same books and right exams that uphold a certain standard then why critisize.
