Q: How can Park University overcharge students because of faculty error of misrepresentation of policies?
Park University is full of hidden disclaimers that students find through theirs wallets. AVOID at all costs!
A: It's not Park University's fault you didn't read the fine print.
Q: Transportation between Rutgers University New Brunswick and Penn State University Park?
I wanted to know if anyone knew of a bus or train that went from Rutgers University (New Brunswick preferrably) to Penn State University (Univeristy Park preferrably). If you know of, please let me know, thanks =]
A: Try a ride-sharing board like http://www.craigslist.org or check the ride-sharing lists on-line at either college.
The other poster suggests Amtrak but you would have to catch the Pennsylvanian, which has a stop about 30 minutes from State College but takes 8 hours.
Q: Has anyone attended Park University in Parkville, MO?
I'm interested in persuing a degree in Graphic Design. Park University is one of the few schools in the area to offer that program and I was just hoping to get some feedback about the school. Does anyone have any information to share?
Yeah, I've also been in Missouri (St. Louis/Columbia) my whole life and never heard of it. That's why I'm curious to get feedback.
A: I just went up to Park yesterday to take some nursing entrance tests. The campus is GORGEOUS!! Park is a very reputable school. I think you'll like it there.
Q: can i transfer to penn state university park after one semester?
i now attend a side campus because i thought that the size of university park would be overwhelming. i hate where i am now but i'll try to keep an open mind. i would really like to transfer to university park for spring semester if that's possible but i'm not sure. i know that i would've gotten in fall semester with my grades if i would've applied but i didn't. it's just really upsetting if i'll be stuck here for two years when i could've been there now....
A: Yes as far as I know you can
Q: Where can I find Taylor Swift tickets in University Park, Pennsylvania?
Where can I find Taylor Swift tickets in University Park, Pennsylvania?
A: i think they are sold out, but you can still find tickets online. go here: http://bookme.com/events.php?type=sports&keyword=or%20swift&search=team and you can compare the prices of taylor swift tix on all the major concert ticket sites. make sure you purchase them online, otherwise they will charge you ridiculously high service fees for phone orders. enjoy the show!
Q: how do i better my chances to getting into Penn state university (university park) for the equine program?
i want to go to penn state university park and major in animal sciences and minor in equine sciences. i am taking my psat in a few months...
i have a horse (LEO!!) we do 4-H. i do pride club and the student government
what should i do to better my chance of going there???
A: I don't know how old you are, but I'll assume somewhere around end of high school (from the psat comment)? If so, hopefully you studied and got excellent grades that shows you were serious in the subjects that count, like your sciences, etc. If you volunteer for things in a related field, they do take that into consideration. Try to get in with (even as volunteering) a large animal vet. If you can find some stables that have certified trainers ask to work with and study them. Maybe when it comes down to crunch time, you can get reference letters from any of those people that you had contacts with. If it's already crunch time, just hope your studies were on q and you did your best.
If you are asking about money, maybe some of your highschool teachers can give you reference letters for scholarships. There are TONS of grants out there for the giving, you just have to be willing to put in the time and effort of looking and applying for them. I got quite a few and I didn't have perfect grades. My 4 year degree (not equine related unfortunately) costed only a fraction of what it would have if I hadn't gone for that stuff. If you might want to go to your local college and take a semester of good solid science classes, that would probably be helpful too.
Good luck :)) If it's something you really truly want, you will find a way.
PS, my niece goes to Penn State and loves it there :)
Q: Is there a train that goes from Penn Station in Newark to University Park in Pennsylvania?
It doesn't need to be direct. I can switch trains and stuff. I just want to know if there is any way that I can get from one place to another in a timely manner.
A: According to the PSU website, there does not seem to be rail service of any kind in the immediate vicinity of the University Park Campus.

Q: What are my chances of getting in UF or Penn State University Park for the fall 2009 term?
I am an international student.I will major in mechanical engineering. I got 1650 on the SAT I and 103 on the TOEFL and I got 97.5% in school( so far) which is equal to 4.0 GPA.
A: Penn State Main (University Park) is hard to get into, but you can get into a satellite campus very easily.
Q: Where can I park my car for Free in Surrey, British Columbia near Simon Fraser University ?
I am in school near Central City Mall and Simon Fraser University, the car park charges a pound and a crown. Rumours of Free Parking abound. Yahoo ! Answer Help me.
A: the cheapest place right near there is actually the north surrey rec centre parking lot across from Central Towers. I think its 4 bucks per day
Free parking, well there is a little strip mall on the east side of surrey central (has a royal bank in it) and its not well monitored but lots of people know that. The parking lot of the mall itself is free but limit is 4 hours so if you dont mind moving your car every class you could get away with that too.
Q: What are my chances of getting into Penn State University Park in fall 09?
I really want to go there. I will be a senior next year.
GPA - 3.75
SAT: Reading - 570 Math - 650 Writing - 660.
ACT - 26
I want to study chemical engineering and I HAVE TO GO THERE. What are the odds that I will get in?
A: Lets go step by step:
Your GPA, should it stay the same after senior year, is right in the middle of last years admits who had a GPA range of 3.57-3.97.
SAT: Your combined score puts you at the lower third of last years admits who had a range of 1740-1980.
ACT: Your 26 puts you at the LOW end of ACT scores for last years admits who had a range of 26-30.
So, you are sort of there. It will come down to your extra curriculars and personal statement.
You should note that for Penn State as a whole, you would be what is called a "presumptive admit" based on your numbers. U Park has higher standards. So write a great personal statement and go for it!
