Which is harder to get into? I heard all you need to get accepted into Western Michigan is a 2.5 ish. Is this true? What GPA do these schools take?

Q: how conservative is central michigan university?
I just visited Central Michigan yesterday, the people are nice, the place is nice, and the education seems okay. However, I'm worried that the student population has no diversity in cultures, views, or people in general. I'm not a conservative person, I know that the center of michigan is known for being generally conservative, is CMU the same way? Is everybody there really the same? BTW...i searched for clubs and they didn't have college democrats there, only college republicans.

A: I went to the event at CMU Saturday too. I am not conservative either. But if you go there, we can fight for the left!!! We can change things together!!

A: try to get scouts to come to your game to get a scholarship. you gotta be good though. michigan is #1 in hockey now with a 22-2 record!

A: you can Always go to Kalamazoo Valley Community College first for 2 years and do good there that is what my son did. He loved going to KVCC . it is easier to transfer from KVCC to western from there.

After the loss to Appalachian State, the University of Michigan's football program has gone down hill. Who could restore glory back to Ann Arbor?

A: 1. Brian Kelly - Cincinnati (michigan ties/innovator) Led Grand Valley State to a pair of Championships, took over a poor Central Michigan Team and made them respectable/exciting. Heck just last night His Bearcats dismantled Oregon State. 2. Greg Shiano - Rutgers (innovator) 3. Bronco Mendenhall - BYU (innovator/traditionalist) 4. Steve Sarkisian - USC (innovator-but lacks HC experience, i think he will be a great HC someday, but i don't think UM will hand over the reigns to someone without HC exp) 5. Bob Petrino (no way he leaves ATL after one season but you never know...) that being said, I am a huge Carr fan and season ticket holder for about 15 yrs now and sometimes his lack of risk taking is irritating. I am getting sick and tired of being dismantled in bowl games (USC x 2, Texas, Tennesee, Nebraska) i think he is a great football coach, leader of men and roll model, but i beleived that he was going to retire at seasons end anyway, so time to start the search. To coach Carr - Love ya and will stick with ya until the day you step down no matter how long that is.

A: My husband got his masters from WMU and my son will be a freshman next year at WMU. There are pro's and con's but what my son did was read the student reviews at the website listed below. Actual students rate different aspects of any university you choose. He weighed all the options and decided on WMU. Good luck!
