Q: What do students at Barry University think of Bill Ayers visit on 1/31/09 at Miami Shores?
I want to know what students/faculty/staff at Barry University think about Bill Ayers visit at Barry University, being a Catholic school and all. Hi everyone, thanks for the answers & the time you took to actually read my question. I would just like to add few responses to a few who make it so painfully obvious that they seem to have more brains under their finger nails than they do in their ever loving skulls. FDM215: Look up the meaning of obsession. Perhaps when you do that you will sound...sensible (as you stated), and less obsessive yourself. It's quit easy, darling, don't answer questions you don't like. And for the rest of you who continue to type, "I DUNNO ASK THEM"...I am! ;)

A: I can't believe it actually. Barry University must actually not be as conservative as the average Catholic. If I knew that before, I would not have applied, too late now I am a graduate student. I didn't realize Barry U. supported terrorists, I don't care about his crazy educational work now, the man bombed the capital, the police head quarters, the pentagon...he's a radical leftist loon unappreciative of what this country is about!

Q: Are you a student or alumnus of Barry University?
I am seriously considering attending this school in the fall. What are your feelings about the educational quality as well as social life? What are some of the drawbacks? Thank you all in advace. I know somebody goes to this school... Right?

A: Hey, yes I attend school at BU, the Miami campus. I started this fall. Its' a small school and is not overcrowded with people because it is a private/catholic school, which I actually like. Classes have about 15-20 students per class, which is a good thing because it gives you the chance to really get to know your instructors and vice versa. I actually like how some teachers are willing to help you and there are labs and tutors where you can get help if you're struggling in a class. People here seem pretty friendly. Just join clubs or just attend some of the events they have and I'm sure you'll meet new people. I don't really have any negatives to say about Barry. I'm a commuter student so I just go in and get out. It might be a different experience to those who live on campus. Overall I think its a nice school.

Q: Have anyone heard of Barry University?
Have anyone heard about Barry University in Miami FL? Is this a great school? What do you think about pursuing a masters of science weekend program in occupational therapy?

A: Go to the link below. They have an " 85% first-time acceptance rate to veterinary schools." People dont go to veterinary school for different reason. Your success really depends on you the individual. Bill Gate was able to do something no man has done before with the invention of the computer. You catch my drift. People changes their mind about what they want to do in life all the time, so you cant really compare your success base on the outcome of other people. I really think if you work hard and study hard and you are persistent, you will make it as a veterinary. Q: Is Barry University A Good School?
I am interested in going to Barry University. They have what I want to study. Sports Management-Diving Industry. SO I would like everyone's opinion. It seems like a great school.....but what do you think about the school?

A: I know it is a private school in Florida. I know they are fully accredited with AACSB accreditation for business; I think fewer than 10% of all schools in the world have this. If all their departments are like business, it should be good. They have a good rep.

What's it like? Is it like University of Miami? By a beach? Safe Neighborhood? Is it a big school? Basically tell me everything about it.

A: It's not far. Yes, it's safe. Miami University's campus is not safe at all. It is known for adult classes, meaning adults going back to college. My Grandma who was 50 went she went there got a degree there. It's a good school for adults.

Due to its $30k+ tuition, it must be... although I heard FIU rejects go there. How good is it, and does it have an Aerospace Engineering program? I already got accepted to FIU and a few other universities, though. My SAT: 1290/1970 My ACT: 26 (28, 30, 24, 23) My GPA: 3.8 W (3.3 UW)

A: It is a respectable University. You have a chance of getting in, but dont count on it as 100%. I say you have a 70% chance of acceptance. Your GPA is a little low and your SATs are a little low...but you are an average canidate for the school.

It's from the 1985 season.

A: Prices will vary by store, due to some stores running special promotions and others not. Also, 100 of the company's stores are closing, so those stores currently have everything at liquidation prices. But right now, I believe no t-shirt is more than $7.98. Most stores are also doing a 2-for sale ($7.98 each or 2/$13, $5.98 each or 2/$10, etc.) I would recommend going to their website and looking up your nearest location to see if they are closing or not.
