Q: Will the Air Force except a bachelor degree from Ashworth University?
I want to go in as an officer.

A: Yes they will I my self Enrolled in the Navy with an Associates degree in Criminal justice from Ashworth if the Navy took it of course the Air Force will. you would get to be an officer and a 800 pay rise compared to the people who enlist without a degree. Think about joining the Navy it is way better than the Air force

Q: Anybody take the electrician program at Ashworth University?
If so could tell me how was your experience with the program and how long did it take.

A: I am a student at Ashworth, and one of the student moderators on teh AU Forum at www.auforumspot.com. I am not in the electrician program, but I can give you some information. The diploma programs are geared for approx 3 to 6 months, depending on if you have any current experience or are starting from scratch. If you have even a basic working knowledge (installing lightswitches, changing breakers in your home, minor electrical work) then it should be easy enough to complete in that time frame.

Q: is any1 taking james madison or ashworth university for home skul?
if u are i can help u out

A: It is a REAL school. Some people just don't know how to spell no matter what school they go to and u never said how u are going to help people? What are you going to do cheat and give people answers so they never learn how to do it themselves?

Q: Anyone able to get a job with a degree from Penn Foster or Ashworth University?
I was interested in getting an Associates degree in human resource from one of the two school. just wanted to see if anyone was able to get a job with a degree from one of the schools. what is a good online school?

A: I am a current Ashworth student, working on my AA in Paralegal Studies. Before enrolling, I had the school checked out by some attorneys I knew, and it got great reviews. Like any other degree, a large chunk of your marketability after getting the degree is simply up to you. Get good grades, network in the feild you want to work in, and make sure you check the local regulations to see if any other types of licensing or certification is needed beyond the AA. The distance learning world is growing in leaps and bounds. There is no reason why a person with a distance education degree cannot be just as successful as someone with a degree from a brick and mortar school. Make sure your writing skills are well honed, have a professional looking resume, dress appropriately for the interviews, and make sure you are well spoken.

Q: is ashworth university a legimate way to get my high school diploma online? any help would be apprecited!?
just need to know if it is legit or a scam it says its accredited by the detc which is recognized by the u.s. department of education... is it legitimate?

A: Visit this site http://www.a1onlinecourses.com Here you will find enough information that will help you solving your this question.

Q: Ashworth University - is it any good or too good to be true?
They are awfully cheap. Is this a bogus degree? - I know it would not be worth as much as some top schools but would it be worth anything?

A: Ashworth University is a nationally accredited (DETC) and not regionally accredited (SACS) - therefor, there will be problems transferring credit later if you want to. They are not "bogus" since they are recognized as accredited by the US government. A regionally accredited degree is more marketable.

Q: is anyone currently attending ashworth university online high school program grade 12?
I need someone to check my algebra 2

A: yes i am it's not working for me i kinda hate it but why did you want to you

Q: Has anyone ever received a degree from Ashworth University and actually found a job?

A: Some years back I did their vocational program in hotel management and immediately found a job with it. I also learned a lot of material - sufficient to max out the Brainbench certification for Hospitality Industry. Keep in mind, when talking about their degree programs, that they are not regionally accredited. While their accreditation (DETC) is valid in the US, that credit will not transfer to most others and their degrees will not qualify you for advanced study at most universities. There is also presently an issue in the state of Texas so if you live there or plan to work there later - don't go with a DETC degree at this time.

A: i'm taking the college prep program :)

Q: anyone taking online courses through ashworth university for human resource management?
Need help with homework sometimes.

A: Sorry, not me!

Q: Help I want to enroll to ashworth university this month,?
I want to be sure that this online education is acredited does anyone studied in that school by online?

A: Ashworth University is accredited by the DETC (a national accreditor of distance learning programs). They are not regionally accredited or specialty accredited. This means that while they are accredited and recognized by the US Dept. of Education as legit and accredited, coursework completed there will likely not transfer to regionally accredited colleges (most 4-year and graduate schools are regionally accredited) and their degrees/diplomas won't qualify you for entry to many graduate programs. Whether this makes any difference at all depends on what you might want to do later. If you're planning on an Ashworth associates degree and then a bachelor's degree somewhere else, it may not be very useful. If you're talking about the diploma/certificate programs - this is a non-issue since courses at that level (vocational skills) don't usually transfer no matter where you take them. I did their Hospitality Management diploma some years back and what I learned in that program was sufficient to help me knock the top out of an industry standard certification exam (98th percentile). I have no complaints about Ashworth as long as you're fully aware of how their programs may or may not transfer later.

Q: Ashworth University a fake? Read DETAILS.?
I left public school to go to homeschool, and i have join ashworth university. They have a myspace a blog and all and i looke up: Ashworth university fake on google and it's all over! Is it real i have already gotten so far behind im still stuck in 9th grade thanks to this help?

Q: Is there a good online high school, other than James Madison or Ashworth University, that are not as expensive

A: I would be very wary of online, for-profit schools (not sure about those two per se) such as university of phoenix, penn foster, stratford career institute, devry u, strayer, kaiser u, kaplan u. Former students of u of phoenix started this site: http://www.uopsucks.com Former students of both penn foster and stratford career posted complaints: http://www.ripoffreport.com and search 'penn foster' or such. Better off going with a reputable program such as through the local county vo-tech school or community college (perhaps non-credit course). For US colleges: http://www.utexas.edu/world/univ

Q: Looking for someone that is in the James Madison high school now called Ashworth university to study together?
