Q: what are the schools in pinellas county florida that offer the washington dc feild trip?
I wanted to know which schools offer the washington dc trip. middle schools,if you know answer please !!!

A: The only school that offers that specific feild trip is phms. Palm harbor middle. Carwise used to, but they stopped. & im pretty sure pierce middle school did too. Other schools usually have big field trips like that, but they are usually never big overnighters.

Q: What schools and area's do you suggest for special eductation children in Washington state?
Where would you suggest to live in washington that would be ok for special needs children? not just school but medical if possible as well. i have been told not directly in seattle. also some place that is not so high in price for housing. thanks

A: I would start by contacting local parent support/advocacy groups about available services in their areas. Pros and cons that they have experienced. Here's some links to get you started. http://www.cshcn.org/resources/waresources.cfm http://popeskidsplace.org/index.html http://www.arcwa.org/parent_to_parent.htm http://spclneedsparents.meetup.com/cities/us/wa/olympia/ This last one you can change to various areas in Washington, not just Olympia. I'm pretty sure you can e-mail people directly if you join. Also, if you haven't already, go to the Wrightslaw website http://www.wrightslaw.com and sign up for their newsletter. Bookmark the site as well, it's full of great information on IEP's and special education law.

Q: is washington dc full of private schools?
is washington dc full of private schools? so all the politicians can send their kids to private schools?

A: There are about 80 private schools in DC. I would say that's quite a lot. Many of these schools have existed for a very long time, many since the Civil War. So it's not like a bunch of private schools recently started up just because DC public schools are not very good. One correction, though. The families of most politicians do not live in Washington; they stay in their home states. So these schools do not exist to serve just the families of elected officials. However, many federal staffers or those officials who choose to permanently relocate to DC may choose to send their kids to a private school.

Q: Oregon/washington schools and towns?
Okay I live in Cali & my family are going to move in the next 2 years i want a small town in either oregon or washington with not a lot of students in the high schools

A: Moses Lake, WA is definitely a small town. It is located in Eastern Washington, about 2 hours from Spokane. The summers are blazing hot and it snows in the winter there. The kids like to go out to the sand dunes in the summer and party (hard) and play in the sand with their trucks and rigs. There is an outdoor pool that is immense and tons of fun. Pay once, stay all day! 2 water slides, 1 drop slide, diving boards, kid area, wading area, deep end, lap swimming area (immense)! I had some friends that lived up there when I was in High School, fair warning the high school kids I hung out with drank a lot and it was okay with their parents, so I don't know how you would feel about that. I grew up in Oregon (friends family lives in Moses Lake). So I know more about the small towns here. One of the bonuses of living in Oregon, first of all, is the lack of a sales tax, and we pay people to pump gas, creating another job field for people searching for work and teens/college kids. Small towns in my area where the high school population is minimal. I will start with Vernonia. It's a tiny little town up on the hill (so they get snow first). It's about an hour from the big city (Portland) and just a little over an hour from the coast. They have one gas station (with convenience store/deli), one grocery store, and maybe 3 restaurants. The police department is all of about 3-5 officers, the town is so small. The schools are all lined up in a row on the main road. It's a cute little town, I love visiting there on the weekends to see friends and eat pizza (great pizza at the Kitchen). I found a website that listed all of the small towns in Oregon (populationunder 1000) and pasted it here. The second set of parenthesis are ones that I added with a general location within Oregon to easier find it on a map. I hope that this helps you out. Coastal towns are very nice in Pacific NW. Here is the list: Adair Village (pop. 536) (south of salem) Adams, OR (pop. 297) (NE oregon) Arlington, OR (pop. 524) (on the border of WA, central) Ashwood, OR (unincorporated, pop. 448) (central N) Aurora, OR (pop. 655) (just south of Portland) Bonanza, OR (pop. 415) (central S) Brooks, OR (pop. 410) (N of Salem, S of Woodburn) Butte Falls (pop. 439) (SW) Butteville (pop. 293) (just S of Wilsonville) Canyon City (pop. 669) (Eastern) Chiloquin (pop. 716) (SW) Cloverdale, OR (pop. 242) (N coastal) Coburg (pop. 969) (N of Eugene) Condon (pop. 759) (central N) Cove, OR (pop. 594) (NE) Culver, OR (pop. 802) (central N) Detroit, OR (pop. 262) (central N) Diamond, OR (unincorporated, pop. 658) (SE) Donald (pop. 608) (NW) Dufur (pop. 588) (central N) Eagle Valley (unincorporated, pop. 967) (N, far E) Echo, OR (pop. 650) (NE) Eddyville, OR (unincorporated, pop. 932) (NW) Falls City, OR (pop. 966) (W of Salem) Fossil (pop. 469) (central N) Garibaldi (pop. 899) (N Coast) Gaston, OR (pop. 600) (NW) Gates, OR (pop. 471) (NW) Gearhart (pop. 995) (N coast) Glendale, OR (pop. 855) (SW almost coast) Gopher Flats (pop. 401) (NE) Grand Ronde (pop. 271) (N coast w/ casino) Grandview, OR (unincorporated, pop. 534) (central N, beautiful) Haines, OR (pop. 426) (NE) Halfway, OR (pop. 337) (N, far E) Halsey, OR (pop. 724) (NW) Hebo (pop. 231) (N, almost coast) Huntington, OR (pop. 515) (N, border of Idaho) Idanha (pop. 232) (NW) Imbler (pop. 284) (NE) Imnaha (unincorporated, pop. 268) (very NE) Ione, OR (pop. 321) (central N) Island City (pop. 916) (NE) Jewell, OR (unincorporated, pop. 947) (NW) Johnson City, OR (pop. 634) (NW, Portland Metro) Jordan Valley (pop. 239) (SE) Labish Village (pop. 376) (NW) Lexington, OR (pop. 263) (NE) Long Creek, OR (pop. 228) (NE) Lostine (pop. 263) (very NE) Lowell, OR (pop. 857) (central W) Malheur Junction (unincorporated, pop. 805) (central E) Malin (pop. 638) (SW) Manzanita (pop. 564) (N coast) Marion, OR (pop. 274) (NW) Marshland (unincorporated, pop. 413) (very NW) Maupin (pop. 411) (central N) Maywood Park (pop. 777) (NW) Mehama (pop. 283) (NW) Merrill, OR (pop. 897) (very S and W) Metolius (pop. 635) (central N) Millersburg, OR (pop. 651) (NW) Monroe, OR (pop. 607) (NW) Moro, OR (pop. 337) (central N) Mosier (pop. 410) (central, border of WA) Mount Vernon, OR (pop. 595) Nehalem (pop. 203) (N coast) Netarts (pop. 744) (N coast) North Powder (pop. 489) (NE) Oakland, OR (pop. 954) (SW) Oceanside, OR (pop. 326) (N coast) Owyhee, OR (unincorporated, pop. 798) (central, border of ID) Paisley, OR (pop. 247) (central S) Parkdale, OR (pop. 266) (central N) Pine Hollow (pop. 424) (central N) Powers, OR (pop. 734) (SW, almost coast) Rivergrove (pop. 324) (NW, Portland Metro) Rufus (pop. 268) (central, border of WA) Scio, OR (pop. 695) (NW) Scotts Mills (pop. 312) (NW) Seneca, OR (pop. 223) (central E) Sisters (pop. 959) (central) Sodaville (pop. 290) (NW) St. Paul, OR (pop. 354) (NW) Summer Lake (unincorporated, pop. 513) (central S) Tangent (pop. 933)

Q: I live in seattle washington and want the military out of our public schools here and the recruiters gone?
Who can I contact to see if they can get the military out of our schools in the seattle area? I wish to get them out of the entire country, but i dont think i can do so much. Also I want there recruiters shut down, they are looked down upon because they brainwash our children and recruit for illegal wars, torture, rape and die for profits Who can I contact? City Counsel? Lawmakers? Is there any groups i can join who are trying to accomplish this

A: i have an idea, let's have seattle separated from the US and dubbed a "territory" then invite Japan, China, whomever to take over you with absolutely no help from those Army men, once you're under the rule of China THEN let's see how much you like the American military If you don't want to join the army just shut up and don't join! you don't have to exile America's National Defense from your glorious city of Seattle just because they're doing they're job!

Q: What are some High Schools within a 60 mile radius of Washington D.C.?
I need a list of High Schools that are in a 60 mile radius of Washington, D.C., but not in D.C. itself. Thanks! Oh, and they need to be Public High Schools.

A: If you wonder what high school you would be attending, you go to the county you live in and I am sure there is a place for you go put your address in and it would tell you which school you would attend. For Maryland, Anne Arundel County. There address is www.aacps.org, on the left hand side locate my school or you can see at local at the top and you will see a listing for all the elementary, middle and high schools. Try to other counties around D.C.

He has around 4 or 5 million coming in just to get the basic books..... For your home, I hope you bringing a small oil field with you because depending where your going to move to...lol...a 4 bedroom home is gonna run you around 500k in a medi- oker area..... So let me be the first to congratulate you... WELCOME TO METH CAPITOL OF THE WORLD!! Hope you already came depressed because after 2 years were gonna have to put you under the lights and pump you full of meds so you can just get out of bed in the morning.....
