I need to find out how I can find information on who took school photographs from 1988, i checked my school and they are unsure of who took the school pictures. What do i do now?

A: Well, if they don't know, um.... Is there a watermark on the back? You might also want to check with the school district since it's often there that deals are made for who does pictures.

A: There are no official websites for anyone's school pictures. The only way to find them would be at the School that you attended.

Q: Hiding a sunburn for school pictures?
I got a sunburn about 3-4 days ago and tomorrow I have to take my school picture. Now the sunburn is peeling. It's not too bad, just on the apple of my cheeks and a little of the forehead. Is there a way I can scrub off the flakes without irritating my skin, or do you think it will even show in the picture?

A: That happened to me, too. Just exfoliate gently, like with baby wash and a washcloth. Then put an excellent moisturizer on, and cover with make-up. Should minimize it so it doesn't show nearly as much. I've never had any problem doing this, but if it doesn't work if all else fails just get retakes :) Happy pictures! :)

Q: What should I do for school pictures?
Tomorrow is picture day. It is individual pictures that go in the yearbook. It is not our full body, just to the middle of our stomach so I don't need to worry about pants. But can you please tell me how to do my makeup, hair, and what kind of shirt to wear??? Thank you so much!

A: I love picture day :D haha well i think you should do natural looking makeup. Like use eyeshadow and stufff but don't glob on the eyliner and mascara. use it, but lightly. use what you normally use for foundation or if you dont use it normally dont use any. use some light blush too. for your shirt just wear something CUTE! sleeveless shirts with white shirts underneath it are always cute :D anything cute basically would work. for your hair... if you have normally straight hair I think you should scrunch it and have a poof at the top if that makes sense? Q: What are some cute ways for couples to pose for high school dance pictures?
My boyfriend and I will be buying pictures at an all school, informal dance this weekend. We're (or me, really, because nothing ever bothers him) having trouble of thinking up ideas how to pose. Its always fun to goof off in the pictures, and last time we did one where he and i made a "thinking" face We also have our homecoming coming up, and cannot think of any fun poses for those pictures either. I'v seen fun stuff where the girl does something with the guys tie, but i want to be orignal, or at least not copy something from someone i know 4 of my 5 older siblings didnt give my mom pictures from their high school formals and my mom said she's pay for pictures if she could have one. I need to keep in mind she might be putting one of these up in the house for the formal picstures

A: High five each other. Point your index finger at each other. Hold hands. Look into each other's eyes. Dance. I think you are wise to pose as the adolescents you are, and not as adults. The reason I say this is that someday you will look back at those photos with fond memories of your childhood and this time when you are on the brink of adulthood. Very smart of you not to rush things.

just wondering... also what was the deal? how many and what size pictures. one of my friend paid $38 for 2-8x10, 1-5x7, 20-wallets for 1 pose. curious what you guys paid.

A: this may be wrong, but I do not buy the school pictures, the ones at Target or JCPenny are cheaper and you get more, I think the pricing at the schools are a rip off and we can get family pics and individual child pics at a studio at more of a value.

Q: is it legal to remove proof image off school pictures?
There is usually the word proof across a photo that they wish for you to purchase from school is it legal to remove such a thing?

A: lol....i know so many people that took their senior pictures to kinkos and had it removed + made copies. i mean, pictures from school can be expensive! i wouldn't think it would be illegal to do so but it's just not the 'right' thing to do.

A: Try looking at your favourite photos of yourself and deciding what you like about them, then try to duplicate that. You could also try a sunless tanner (read instructions carefully!) a few days before picture day, and wearing makeup and clothes that go well with your eyes and hair. Have fun and smile like you mean it!

A: your old high school library should have old yearbooks. but you would have to go there to look at them.

A: Seeing it's for photos, you can get away with wearing more layers of makeup in order to cover it. Mac does a really amazing Studio Stick Concealer, which will cover the redness when used underneath their foundation and powder.

Q: Do you think it will be ok to wear black and white for school pictures?
I never get a good school pic and the pics are tonight. I have this really cute black babydoll top with white polka dots and kimono type sleeves. Do you think it will be ok to wear black and white. I have a pair of staight legged jeans, white chunky necklace, black and white headband, and black flats to go with it. Ill probably just straighten my hair and put lip gloss and eye shadow on. Does this sound ok? Any suggestions. Or should I do a bright pink necklace?

A: Well it sounds cute - but i would think that you would want to stand out in your year book - maybe wear that but put a little splash of color - Maybe you could wear a different color necklace and/or headband! That way you dont totally have to think of a new outfit (I hate doing that! :] )

I have blonde hair that is a little past my shoulders i also have side bangs, please give me a good style that will look good in pictures! thanx

A: no ponytail, thats for sure. especially if u have blonde hair, it could make u look bald. (eek!). but i think it depends on who u are... year book pics are kinda like a way to capture who you were in that grade... i think that if u jsut make it look styled and nice, you could just leave it down with maybe a little bit of curl to some pieces using a think curling iron and kinda frame ur face :]

A: you may have to go to the library. I was looking for a pic a while back in a high school year book,I called the school They told me they didn't have it and to go to the library. I went and found it. There was a few there I had to look through before I found what I was looking for. Good luck!!
