Q: What are the requirements education wise to become a children neurologist?
I' am considering this as a career and i need to know a little about it.
A: Attend a college or university with a good premedical or Biochemistry program.
Minor in psychology if you can.
If you need to, attend a community college to get prerequisites out of the way.
Then you'll need to go to medical school for 3-4 years and intern for a while.
Q: Australian requirements for the education of Children while parents are travelling around the country ?
If a family has school aged children and they wish to spend over 12 months travelling around the country-side, what requirements must they follow and what are the penalties for failing to follow the requirements?
Are the parents of school aged children allowed to make up their own curiculum and not have any input from the Education Department ?
A: If you contact your childrens school, they would be able to give you all the information you need. Children have to be taught under a acadmic curriculum. One of my sons was very ill during his year 10 schooling and couldn't attend school. With his school's help we enrolled him with the department of distance education. They sent all his school work to him each term. We had a phone number to ring when he needed teacher help. We still had to set a timetable for each day in regards to his school work. He had a schedule to complete each subject. We posted off completed work each week.
Q: What are the education requirements in order to be a pilot?
i'm 26 yrs old and never finished college. i have 1 yr under my belt. started working making pretty good money halfway through college and unwisely dropped out and started working full-time. i've been thinking about this alot lately and want to become a pilot which was my dream in middle/high school but never went through with it because people around me was very discouraging about doing that. they said i should just get a "traditional" job and live happily ever after. but now that i'm older, i really want go through with it and hopefully become a pilot.
what are the requirements? BA a must? just pilot school? also requirements within commercial airlines and private.
thanks.
i was reading previous questions that people posted here on Yahoo and so far i gathered that a degree is not a MUST, but HIGHLY recommended. i'm guessing that i wouldn't be much of a candidate if the time actually comes and i interview with a major airline, they would choose someone with a degree than not, is that accurate?
in the real world, would i be able to get any decent paying pilot job without a degree?
A: It depends on which country you live in.
In US and many other countries in the west, a degree is not a pre-requisite.
if you are in India, you can start student pilot licence without a degree too.
Some advanced schools do have the requirement of a degree, depending on the sophisticated machine that you want to fly and the relevant educational requirements that you need to understand the basics of engineering and navigation related to actually being able to fly.
You have two ways of getting a flying career; enrol into Air Force and become a short service commissioned officer with flying duties; second, begin training in a private flying school.
Q: What are the education requirements for becoming a kindergarten or elementary school teacher?
i am currently a freshman in college majoring in biology. ive always wanted to do something with kids and am starting to think that being a pediatrician is not for me....however, i would love to be a kindergarten or first grade teacher. can i continue being a bio major and still be a teacher or do i need to change my major? What do you have to do to become an early childhood teacher? Some people say that you should apply to an education program, but is that after you've earned your bachelor's? i'm feeling kinda confused right now, and any advice would help A LOT as i have to sign up for classes for next semester pretty soon. thanks!
The university that I'm at right now doesn't offer an early childhood education major...only for middle and high school.
A: BEd. Bachelors of Education. And B.A. Bachelors of Art in any subject.
Q: What are the education requirements to join all branches of the military?
I thought you had to at least have a high school or GED to sign up, has this changed? What if someone lies about their education, what will happen to them?
A: For the most part a GED or H.S. diploma is required. An exception in the Army's "split option" (the program my original enlistment was through, before going full time Army) In this, one can enlist in the Guard, or Reserves, at 17 and a H.S. Junior. He then goes to basic training that summer, and serves in their unit during their final year of high school. One DOES have to actually finish high school, even in this program. So far's I know, this is the basic requirement for military service.
The reality is, that even as an enlisted serviceman, you'll pretty much have to get some type of higher education, in order to advance beyond the lower ranks. Most of the service's higher ranking NCO's get a college degree while in, or get out, go to college, then re-enter after they recieve their degree. (One of my Drill Sgt.s was actually working on his PHD in psychology.)
Q: What are the licensure requirements for special education in Colorado?
What are the licensure requirements for special education in Colorado?
A: http://www.teacher-world.com/certification/colorado-steps.html
this website decribes how to become a teacher
Q: What are the education requirements to become a General Internist?
If possible, can you state specific requirements for both North Carolina and California?
Thanks for any and all answers..
A: Both states are the same: an internist is a medical doctor. So, 4 years undergrad, 4 years medical school and the 1 year internship, and 3+ years residency/fellowship and pass all the state medical board exams. Once you are licensed in one state you can apply for privledges in any other state.
Q: What are minimal education requirements for Physical Education?
Perticularly the requirements for a High School P.E. teacher.
Do subs. have any different requirements?
A: Well, as far as I know the min. requirements for any teacher is a bachelors degree and certification in the state you intend to work in. That's in every state in the United States, regardless of what you want to teach, including P.E, music, art, etc.
Substitutes have to be at least 21 years old, but that's about all I know about subs.
Best of luck.
Q: What are the specific Education Requirements to become a pilot in the RAAF?
ive read on the defence jobs site but it doesnt say anything about TER or anything, id like a more comprehensive list of the requirements, as the pages about it on the defencejobs website imply that anyone with at least a C grade in the subjects mentioned can apply, however i dont think this is true
A: Hey!
Your best bet would be to call the recruiters and ask! 13 19 01. There is also an inquiries button on the defence recruiting home page. http://www.defencejobs.gov.au/
Sorry I couldn't be more of a help to you. But don't be afraid to call the recruiters. They are really fantastic people, and if the person who answers can't help you, they will either find someone who can, or find the answer for you.

Q: What are the requirements (education) to do hospice work?
A: There are a lot of ways to be involved with hospice. You can volunteer, which requires no formal education, just the training that is provided. You can get educated as a CNA and work as an aide, or go to nursing school to be a hospice nurse. I suggest calling your local hospice and asking any questions that you may have.
Q: Should candidates for office (presidential or other) have education requirements?
There is no education requirement for office, should we have one?
A: And what makes them more qualified if they have a higher education? Our current president is supposedly very highly educated, yet his decisions so far show that he lacks knowledge of basic economics.
