Q: I just learned that my dream school only has an undergraduate program for education, not a graduate program?
I just learned that my dream school only has an undergraduate program for education, not a graduate program? Is it necessary to go to an undergrad school with an education program to get into a grad school with a education program?

A: No, you usually don't stay in the same school for undergrad and grad school anyway. You can do your education major at your dream school, and still get into grad school elsewhere - they don't need a grad program to have a good undergrad program.

Q: Can I transfer a DWI probation for graduate level education?
I want to transfer DWI probation to another state that I have accepted to for law school. Approximately how long will this take? I know it's possible but my probation will start shortly before school begins so I am concerned that I will not be able to move in time.

A: YES, you can definitely transfer your probation. If it is supervised then you have to go through the agency and your probation officer. If it is unsupervised you have to notify the court that you are moving. BTW- Supervised probation will only take a week or two to transfer over. Good Luck at School!

Q: How will/did you pay for your graduate school education?

A: Loans, loans, loans -- that being said, I went for a taught master's program in Ireland, which didn't offer any funding whatsoever. If you are applying for a PhD program in the States, you should get at least a stipend, and many master's programs will give you funding as well.

Q: how does the us graduate education examine the students and mark the exam?
what is 72 compared to an average of 82

A: For many grad programs, the main part of the program is writing a thesis or dissertation. These are not graded. You write the long detailed research essay under the guidance of a professor. Then when the professor agrees that you have done a good job, the work is submitted to a committe of 3 to 5 other professors. They have to approve it and then you have an oral defense. Then you are finished. Most programs also require you to take a certain set of courses where you are graded A, B C F. For most graduate schools a C (70-79) would not be considered good enough for credit towards a graduate degree. So you might have to take that course again. There are more than 1000 graduate schools in the USA and they all have their own rules, and often the rules vary between different departments of the same school. So, you would have to check the details of the rules in the exact school you wanted to attend.

Q: Can I get fund for my graduate education , by hook or by crook ?
I would like to have free scholarship or funds for teaching Education or Applied science stream in any english speaking countries ?.call me plaease,if you can to. solomon A Ethiopia Make your answer be just at the focal point where I am from Ethiopia.

A: There are tons of scholarships that go unclaimed each year. Many $400, $500 or $1000 scholarships never even get applied for because people think it's chump change and not worth applying for. Well, get a few of those $500 scholarships and it'll really make a dent in your tuition bill. Do a search on scholarships, search your major, your ethnic heritage, your town, your parents employers, your employer, hobbies, high school, local chamber of commerce/rotary/ lion's club etc. Left-handed? There is a scholarship out there for you! Older woman returning to school? There are scholarships out there for you. Do combined searches on more than one criteria "hispanic women aviation scholarships" etc. Go to the library and ask the reference librarian for a reference book on scholarships. They usually have more than one. There are all kinds of scholarships out there, you just have to start applying yourself and make it your summer career to send out letters everyday for scholarships. Good luck!
