Q: What are the best pre-medicine texas universities or colleges?
Im a junior in high school and i really want to major in pre-medicine but i dont know what universities or colleges are the best. I know that Baylor is really good but i want to explore my options.

A: Doesn't matter what school you go to for your pre med curriculum. Just keep in mind that Pre Med is NOT an actual major...it is a curriculum designed to prepare you for the MCAT and for Med School entrance. Yes, you may get some sort of degree out of it, but you really will have nothing to fall back on if you should get into Med School and decide that it isn't for you. Majoring in Biology or Chemistry will give you the premed requirements, plus it will allow you to earn a degree in an area that can be useful if Med School doesn't work out for you.

Q: What are the best Pre-Med Colleges in Texas?
I'm in 10th grade and I'm starting to explore my College options. I know that I want to be a surgeon, and I have the grades to boot. What are some good pre-med schools in Texas that I should look at? Sorry. 166 on PRE-ACT

Q: New educational law in texas colleges?
i am in first year of my college. today i heard my instructor said, Texas legislature passed a law limiting first time entering freshmen to no more than six total course withdrawals throughout their educational career in obtaining a certificate and/ or degree. .... Does that mean i can't withdraw over 6 time during my enitre college years, otherwise i won't get a degree?? my cousin been in college for 4 years, he already had 6 official withdrawals on his transcripe, what about that? can he have more W??? thanks

A: It won't affect your cousin, who's been in school--it just applies to incoming freshman in Texas *public* colleges. The aim is to reduce the state's cost for funding higher education. (It takes longer to finish school if you drop lots of classes.)

Q: Where does Baylor University rank among Texas Colleges?
What is the make up the students at Baylor, their gender, ethnic background, and where they are from in the country and world? pppppppllllllllllzzzzzzz help me

A: In Texas the best college is Rice .... A and M is a good school but so huge you are lost ... U T is the same maybe even larger and geting lost in the shuffle can be very easy .... SMUis good prob rated higher than A&M or UT .... Baylor is a small Baptist college and it is well rated prob on a par with SMU.... Baylor and SMU are probabaly on about a par ....the school has a student population that pretty much represents the US population about 50/50 male vs female mixed ethnicities and even though many are from TEXAS a lot of the other states are represented ... There is an international student body as well .... Baylor is a good school my daughter graduated from their in 1995
