Q: anybody know about some good christian colleges in texas?
im planning to study theology and phillosophy after i get our of high school i live in el paso texas, does someone know about any close christian colleges to such?
A: Texas Christian University and Southern Methodist are some good and well known universities. Hope that helps!
Q: I just need names of Universities or colleges in Texas that are small and beautiful a campus.?
I just need your opinions about different colleges. I need like a student review of the college you went to and if it is a good college or not. Thxs a lot
A: Rice in Houston, Southwestern University in Georgetown (near Austin), Texas State in San Marcos, and Saint Mary's in San Antionio are some of the most gorgeous campuses that come to mind. Many of those are on or near a river. I graduated from Texas State, and it's a great school. It has a large student population, but the setup of the campus makes it feel intimiate and small. It only takes 10 or 15 minutes to get from one end of the campus or the other, yet it is rank the 3rd largest school in Texas. They have a huge selection of majors and great professors....and the school sits on the San Marcos river which keeps the campus lush and beautiful and it's great in the summer to go tubing on.
Q: What are the best colleges in Texas for studying in the field of premed?
A: Texas A & M, University of Texas, and Baylor.
Q: What colleges in Texas offer undergraduate programs or do all colleges do that?
A: I believe all colleges in Texas offer undergraduate programs. However, do not get community colleges confused with regular colleges because they only offer two-year programs (associate's degree) usually rather than a bachelor's degree a typical college will offer. As far as I know there are no colleges in Texas that offer only graduate programs (those types of schools are very rare to begin with anyway).
Good Luck!!!
Q: What are the best colleges in Texas to study Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counseling?
A: Any decent state school should have a program in that---you can even get licenses with Associates degrees through community colleges.
However, be aware that there is not much money in that field, and it is highly depressing!
Q: Any good gay friendly colleges in Texas or in a state nearby?
I'm starting my senior year in high school. I need to plan ahead.
Thank you for your time!
:O)
A: University of Texas Austin is pretty open to about anything. Austin's a pretty laid back town. Nobody thinks anything about it if they see two same sex individuals walking around and holding hands.
The University of North Texas up in Denton is reputed to be fairly open to about anything. The bands Deep Blue Something and Bowling for Soup came out of there. It seems to be another of those anything goes campuses.

Q: Is becoming a Scrub Tech a good Career? And what colleges in North Texas are best to go to for this career?
Im wanting infromation about becoming a Scrub Tech. I also want information about some schools in the North Texas Area that provide the training for this. Is this an interesting job and exciting?
A: If you plan to attend college, just get into nursing.
Q: Does anyone kno of any good child protective service colleges in texas?
A: You need to look up social work programs and the social work licensing agency. Try to go for a program that has been established ten plus years, fuller graduation classes, and offers at least a master's at the same institution.
Q: Are there any colleges in Texas that have Korean as a foreign language course?
If not what is a way I could learn Korean without moving to Korea?
A: University of Texas is one of the biggest schools in the U.S., and I suspect they have programs in virtually every major language. The link below gives you info on their program in Korean. I'm at Ohio State University, and we also have a sizeable Korean program, in case you get tired of Texas. Good luck.
Q: do fee waivers for Community colleges exist in Texas?
The community colleges in CALIFORNIA offer fee waivers which pays for the classes only, and the state offers financial aid for books, and other expenses.
Does it exist in Texas???
A: I hope you pay high taxes...
Q: Colleges in Texas that offer degrees in Forensics?
I am planning on getting my Assoc. in Forensics from Amarillo College, where can I transfer to get my bachelor's & Master's degree in Forensics?
A: University of Texas-Arlington
Q: What do colleges require to transfer from a community college to a texas public university?
A: You need to make a plan degree with your counselor in the community college. They will require your current transcript. Depending on your major there will be different requirements such as a portfolio to see your work, letters of recommendation, etc.
Q: What are some black colleges in Texas that are prestigious?
A: No Prarie View is not prestigous at all. They have almost lost there credibility once. It is merely a party school and many go there for a fashion show. However, if you work hard and get into various clubs, you could possibly get into an HBCU outside of Texas. I live in Texas also but I'm working hard so I can attend a prestigious black college, such as Howard,Hampton, or Clark. I would never go to Prarie View, the classes are not at all challenging, they're very reminicent of high school. Do yourself a huge favor go to one of the colleges listed above or even Dillard in Louisana is pretty good(way better than P.V.)!
**Good luck though, I'm sue you'll do well

i may be eligible for an athletics scholarship and i was wondering what universities offer a nursing program? howard payne? :) thanks!
A: Texas is a very big state and there are way too many RN programs to list here. I don't know about Howard Payne, I went to the University of Texas Heath Science Center at Houston and I am not familar with the Brownwood area of Texas. Try looking Howard Payne's website.
