Q: Christian colleges in Georgia?
Im trying to find a Christian college to go to IN georgia...anywhere in Georgia it doesnt matter....I Know of a few like Atlanta Christian College, Covenant College (very exspensive) , and Berry College but i dont know alot about them, and their websites dont help a whole lot. I would REALLY REALLY appreciate any help.

A: I wouldn't be too selective on your part.. I visited Covenant College and they are extremely willing to do whatever they can to help you financially. I'm applying there - it's one of my top two choices, actually, and my family is struggling a lot in that area. You should definitely check out collegeboard.com and if you don't have a log-in, get one. They have a place where you can do head-to-head comparisons of schools you're looking at. I would also check out princetonreview.com - there you can search for basically any college and it gives you information like tuition, religious affiliation, average GPA and test scores, similar schools and so much more. I hope you find what you're looking for!

Q: Suggestions for Colleges in Georgia?
I am a rising senior in high school and I am trying to decide where I want to go to college. I would like to stay in-state for a few years to get used to being away from home. I am 2nd in class rank, and I plan on staying there or moving up =) so I would like to go to a nice college, not one that is not very challenging. I would like to go into the medical or pharmaceutical field, also. And my final request for my college is that it have a beach!! So, somewhere in southern Georgia near a beach. Any suggestions? I've looked at Savannah State University and South College in Savannah, but I don't really know if those colleges are nice or "dumbed down" or anything. Any suggestions would be AMAZING and geratly appreciated!! Requests: 1. In Georgia 2. I'm 2nd in my class, so not a "stupid school" (for lack of better terms 3. Near a beach! Thanks!! The in-state tuition is a plus, but I plan on applying for many scholarships. So, as long as it isn't a private school or anything, a neighboring state would do.

A: The field is really narrow there. Use Wikipedia and enter the names of some coastal cities in Georgia. Would you be willing to try South Carolina or Florida, too, or are you aiming for in-state tuition?

Q: List all the Colleges and Universities in the South Carolina and Georgia during the Civil War?
thanks

A: I don't know if you can name all of them. I don't know if there is a list of them but some that I've come across in my research are: The Citadel in Charleston, S.C. (their battle flag was flown by S.C. forces when they fired on Fort Sumter in April of 1861) The University of Georgia in Athens (at the time, it was called something else, but it was the same school. Confederate General James Longstreet was an alumnus). Georgia Military Institute in Marietta. Oglethorpe College in Savannah, Ga. What is now Middle Georgia college in Milledgeville (the war-time capitol of Georgia). There was a college in Columbia S.C. but I don't know the name of it.
